Menjong Sorig Pharmaceuticals Corporation Limited is a DHI company with the mandate to manufacture and supply traditional medicines for Bhutan. We also manufacture and market various other herbal health promoting products.

In Bhutan, Sowa Rigpa the ancient Buddhist system of medicine is officially recognized and established by the Government as an alternative to the modern medicine. There are about 66 traditional medicine Units/Hospital across the country today providing traditional medicine healthcare services. All our herbal formulations are based on the knowledge of Sowa Rigpa science.

Based in Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan, Menjong Sorig Pharmaceuticals Corporation Limited is fully equipped with modern pharmaceutical technology, machinery and equipment. We also have well-established laboratories for R&D and for Quality Assurance. Most importantly, we have a young team of highly qualified and skilled personnel who have been trained in various aspects of traditional medicine production.

Today, we manufacture and supply about 15 metric tons of various traditional medicines for the hospitals and over 2 metric tons of other herbal products for the local commercial market.
